Mauna Kea Observatories

Maela and I went up one Saturday to check out the observatories on Mauna Kea (since my job doesn't actually require me to ever go up to Gemini Observatory).  After enjoying the view and trying unsuccessfully to get in to the Keck public viewing area, we took a short hike to a small lake on the mountain.  Amazing how much you huff and puff at 14,000 ft.  I had a headache for the rest of the day!
