Hikes in the Ka'u Desert
Kau Desert Trail - from quite awhile back. I parked at the NP campground and road my bike 4 miles or so down to the trailhead. Hiked the footprints trail to the Desert trail about 7 miles up to the national park crater rim and back out to the campground.
