Mus' stabbing songs
I would sing to her during her daily 10 minute stabbings (subcutaneous fluids during her last year of life with kidney failure) and her favorite song by far was John Denver's This old guitar. Anytime she started to get fidgety or upset during the treatments, as soon as I started singing this to her, she would lay her head down and lay peacefully. Only a couple other songs would occasionally have this effect on her, but this song never once failed.
Another song came from the movie the earthling. I modified the words slightly as I sang to her, so that I wasn't yet "alone again", but this song still seemed to sometimes agitate her slightly.

Mus with brother Maka
Mus with mom Robin
A video circa early 2004 of Mus visiting with Robin, Maka,
Frantz, Nico, Ben, and ?.

Mus didn't really sleep all that much. She was much more of an active cat than a lazy one, loving to explore, climb, play, visit with others, and especially hunt, but unfortunately, most of my pictures of her are of her sleeping. And she certainly did know the value of a good nap.

This was how we spent most of our time together, but I was too busy playing to take pix!
Action

Biking and climbing. Actually, my bike was her scratching post. How she climbed up to the top of the bookshelves, I'll never know.

Showing off her talons.

Drinking her martini. Sadly, her kidney disease caused her an unquentiable thirst.

Exploring

Hunting. She ate many a gecko during her lifetime, and caught innumerable
birds and rats as well.
Goodbye my Friend
